Connecting Through Sharing and Support
WA-SAST exists to support connection, learning, and collaboration across Washington among people who are working toward safety, healing, and stability. This includes advocates, service providers, survivors, family members, caregivers, and others who support individuals and communities impacted by harm. Events are one way people share opportunities to learn, connect, and build skills. If you are considering sharing an event or learning opportunity, this page is a place to start that conversation.
About Sharing Events on WA-SAST
Events shared through WA-SAST help people find opportunities to learn, connect, and engage around topics related to advocacy, support, prevention, and systems of care. These may include trainings, workshops, webinars, community conversations, or other opportunities that support people in their work or personal healing journeys.
Events are shared thoughtfully and with care for the diverse community that uses WA-SAST. Not every event or opportunity will be the right fit for this space, and that’s okay. Our goal is to support meaningful, relevant opportunities while keeping the platform welcoming, useful, and grounded in shared values.
About Sharing Resources on WA-SAST
At WA-SAST, we share resources that help connect information to real-world practice. This includes research, guides, templates, toolkits, and other materials that support advocacy, prevention, direct service work, and personal healing.
We share resources with care, keeping in mind the needs of the diverse community that uses WA-SAST. We focus on materials that are practical, relevant, and aligned with shared values. Not every resource will be the right fit for this space, and that’s okay. Our goal is to keep the library useful, accessible, and grounded in everyday practice.
Other Ways to Connect
Of course we have other ways to share, connect, and get assistance!
Share Through the WA-SAST Newsletter
The WA-SAST newsletter highlights learning opportunities, resources, and updates from across Washington. Sharing information through the newsletter is another way to stay connected and contribute to shared learning.
Submissions are reviewed with care and may be included when they align with the goals of the newsletter.
Request Technical Assistance
Technical assistance is available to support service providers and organizations across a wide range of needs. This can include help thinking through specific situations, program questions, training needs, or broader planning and problem solving.
If you’re looking for guidance or support beyond what’s available on the site, technical assistance may be a helpful place to start.
