WomenSpirit Coalition offers Walking in Two Worlds as a framework for Tribal-state partnership rooted in integrity, relational accountability, and shared responsibility. It calls on all partners—Tribal Nations, state agencies, public-health practitioners, and community organizations—to walk together with clarity and courage. To restore matrilineal governance. To strengthen kinship systems. To honor land-based belonging. To build prevention strategies that reflect the realities and brilliance of Indigenous communities.
WomenSpirit grants permission to WA DOH to co-steward access to this report, specifically dissemination of the full report to mutually agreed recipients or within mutually agreed forums.
