International Rescue Committee

For 50 years, the IRC in Seattle has helped thousands of refugees, immigrants, and survivors of human trafficking from every part of the world restart their lives in Washington State.

The Washington Anti-Trafficking Response Network (WARN) is a coalition of non-governmental organizations that provide direct services and intensive case management to victims of human trafficking in Washington State. Since 2004, WARN has assisted survivors of sex and/or labor trafficking to live out their desired lives without re-victimization.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Seattle leads the WARN coalition of organizations working together to serve survivors of trafficking and to increase victim identification. IRC is predominantly a refugee and asylee services agency and the IRC WARN program specializes in working with refugee and immigrant populations who have experienced labor trafficking; however IRC WARN advocates can serve survivors of any type of human trafficking.

IRC WARN is also a co-founder of Washington Advisory Committee on Trafficking (WashACT), and co-chairs the task force alongside the Seattle Police Department and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Washington.
